“Welcome back to South Bay Ford! We just got this in, so I really wanted to share it with you. It is a 2023 Ford Ranger SuperCrew 4×4 in Shadow black. This is the XLT model with a 126-inch wheelbase. Alright, let’s kick this one off by giving you an exterior walk around.

Here we have our steering wheel controls, followed by our tachometer. The entertainment system here, touch buttons for control. You can actually control alignment from the touchscreen. Now you’ve also got those climate control buttons down here too. Then, here we have our different settings for two-wheel high, four-wheel high, four-wheel low. All the way in the back, you can see your chargers. And above the touchscreen, you also have this nice pad here called cell phones, etc. Okay, let’s hop in the back.

As you can see, the back seat has plenty of room. I’m about five foot ten, and this was set up for me in the front. I still have room here in the back. The seat actually contours where your knees will reach, so there’s actually more room than it appears. And down below here, you have your different chargers. This has the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine with the electric 10-speed automatic transmission.

So, what do you think of the 2023 Ford Ranger? Let us know in the comments below. If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call or visit us online. Thanks for watching South Bay Ford.”

Additionally, the automatic tailgate release, measuring tape, and multiple charging outlets make this truck a practical and innovative choice. Don’t miss this in-depth review of the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning at South Bay Ford!

Transcript:

“All right, so today’s episode is a little bit different. We’ve got this Lightning, and it’s always hard to find these to shoot them for you guys because they sell so fast. This one’s getting charged because we just got it in; we want to make sure it’s charged up. So I’m gonna give you a full tour of the Lightning. Wow, it’s plugged in.

So, you know it’s Lightning I’m showing you here. It is a 2022 F-150 4×4 SuperCrew Lightning, and the optional equipment you’re gonna see on this particular Lightning that I’m showing you is going to have the tow package, the liner trailer tow package, Ford co-pilot, and then the bedliner. So, if you’ve seen our past episodes, you’ll know I start you off with an exterior look. I’m going to give you a full walk around, but yeah, I’m going to start off with the exterior.

Let’s take a look at the interior. Gotta show you this door, got a cool material to it, so it’s not your normal door panel. Seats are super comfortable, very stylish and the material I was showing you on the door runs along on the interior as well. Here are some of your settings right as you walk in.

Okay, so let’s start it up, see what happens. Look how big this screen is. Like I said, this is basically a walkthrough video. I’m not going to go through what everything does, but I will show you some of the cool things that it has here that you can control from this huge touchscreen.

Obviously, there’s no phone attached to it yet. Looks like she’s ready to come off the charger; she’s at 100%.

Here you have your cell phone charger and then your additional plug-in chargers. Above that, we have additional outlets. Cupholders down, additional workspace. Let’s check out the back seat. Along the door, it has that same material. To have an open front seat, similar to sitting here in the back. Down low, we have the additional plugs and chargers, so I’m about five nine, five ten; I have plenty of legroom as you can see, which is nice. And then in the back of the seat, we have an additional storage, kind of a cool feature.

Other than the lights, there you can actually open the hood from here, look at that. Obviously, there’s no motor in here, but hey, storage. Some additional storage underneath, and this part is pretty insane; look at all the plugs you can get in there, it’s awesome. If you need to use the remote to close it, I hit this little button around the back. Here we have the automatic tailgate release.

Yeah, you’re gonna see some of these cool features on a lot of the Fords, not just the Lightning. Comes with the measuring tape in the back here so you can measure things while you’re working and also the push-button release tail step. And then in the back here, you’re going to see that additional liner. Over here, a little bit of anything you’re going to want to plug in, not remote. We’ll also put the tailgate back up.”

“Hi, this is Don from South Bay Ford Lincoln, and this is the brand new Mach-E GT. It’s in a beautiful Grabber Blue, which is an exclusive color for the Mach E. You won’t see this on any other Ford. We have the GT package, so we have nice rims and bright red calipers. The GT pony emblem is exclusive to the Mach E because it’s an electric vehicle. You don’t need all the grille inlets, so it’s very special to the Mach E. It also has premium headlights and the premium GT sensor package. We have a beautiful racing stripe accent that goes through the entire side of the car. You can tell it’s an extended range battery version because of the ‘X,’ and it’s an all-wheel drive vehicle because of the ‘4’ next to the Mach-E name. This color is beautiful, especially in the sunlight. The premium GT logo on the back and the two-tone color scheme make it really stand out. Another notable feature on the exterior is the shiny cap mirror, which gives it a more premium look compared to the standard version.

Now, let’s talk about the power inlet for charging. We have level one, level two, and level three charging options. Level one is your standard wall socket, while level two is similar to your home dryer hookup, providing faster charging. At the bottom, we have the DC fast charger, which can give you about 40 minutes of charging time. These are highly sought after, and although they come at a premium, they’re worth it for peace of mind during your travels.

I want to highlight the symbols on the side again because they have important meanings. The ‘X’ indicates an extended range battery, so if it were a two-wheel drive car, it would have around 300 miles of range. For the all-wheel drive version, you’re looking at approximately 260 to 300 miles of range, leaning more towards 260 due to the engagement of all the wheels. The all-wheel drive not only enhances grip and safety but also improves performance. Having all the wheels powered means you’ll have a lot more fun, and it can get you out of trouble as well. We want to ensure you’ll keep coming back for more.

Now, one unique thing about all Mach-E models is that they don’t have a traditional engine. Instead, what you see here is the front trunk or frunk. In this later production vehicle, we don’t have the dividers that were present in the earlier series, so you have this entire area for storage. It even has a drain plug, allowing you to store wet items like ice, sodas, or meat for a barbecue. With the gasket and seal around the top, you can take your party with you and enjoy your beverages. It’s convenient and ensures you’re prepared for any occasion.

Moving on, opening the trunk is incredibly easy. Simply pull the lever twice, and it lifts up without any extra buttons to deal with. It’s super convenient. Another unique feature is the Mustang GT heritage emblem on the back, which pays homage to the original Mustang GTs. Additionally, they offer a practical feature where you can kick open the trunk if your hands are full or you need easy access. Closing it is just as effortless, making life a lot easier without struggling with every button on the car.

For added convenience, the hatch height can be adjusted to accommodate narrow garages or low ceilings. By holding down the button for a five-count, you can lower the height, and another press brings it back to the highest position. It’s a useful feature for people of different heights or when you encounter space constraints.

These doors are assisted, which is a great safety feature for both older individuals and young ones. When you push the button to open the door, it pops itself out to assist you, and when you close it, it automatically closes. It’s particularly helpful when you have little ones who want to get in and out without worrying about their fingers getting caught. The doors ensure their safety.

So, that wraps up the tour of the all-new Mach-E GT Edition in Grabber Blue. It’s a unique and rare vehicle. Thank you for watching this exterior video. I encourage you all to like and subscribe to this channel. Thank you very much”

To determine if your vehicle has FordPass Connect, check the window sticker or add your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the app. If you see the “Activate Vehicle” button on the Home screen, it means your vehicle has an embedded modem.

Experts give these apps the thumbs up, and Ford continues to launch updates with new features based on continuous customer feedback. This past year, FordPass received high rankings in J.D. We hope you are enjoying the FordPass app. If you aren’t using the FordPass app, getting started is easy. Here are the straightforward steps:
