The 18th annual Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America™ Awards were announced, with Ford earning an outstanding nine awards, more than any other automaker. We are humbled to win so many awards. Annually, Vincentric grants the Best Value Awards™ to vehicles in both the consumer and fleet markets. They evaluate each car in all 50 states plus DC using 28 different ownership/mileage scenarios. They identify winners by determining which vehicles had the lowest fleet lifecycle cost in most scenarios for their segment. It's in a beautiful Grabber Blue, which is an exclusive color for the Mach E. You won't see this on any other Ford. We have the GT package, so we have nice rims and bright red calipers. The GT pony emblem is exclusive to the Mach E because it's an electric vehicle. You don't need all the grille inlets, so it's very special to the Mach E. It also has premium headlights and the premium GT sensor package. We have a beautiful racing stripe accent that goes through the entire side of the car. You can tell it's an extended range battery version because of the 'X,' and it's an all-wheel drive vehicle because of the '4' next to the Mach-E name. This color is beautiful, especially in the sunlight. The premium GT logo on the back and the two-tone color scheme make it really stand out. Another notable feature on the exterior is the shiny cap mirror, which gives it a more premium look compared to the standard version. Now, let's talk about the power inlet for charging. We have level one, level two, and level three charging options. Level one is your standard wall socket, while level two is similar to your home dryer hookup, providing faster charging. At the bottom, we have the DC fast charger, which can give you about 40 minutes of charging time. These are highly sought after, and although they come at a premium, they're worth it for peace of mind during your travels. I want to highlight the symbols on the side again because they have important meanings. The 'X' indicates an extended range battery, so if it were a two-wheel drive car, it would have around 300 miles of range. For the all-wheel drive version, you're looking at approximately 260 to 300 miles of range, leaning more towards 260 due to the engagement of all the wheels. The all-wheel drive not only enhances grip and safety but also improves performance. Having all the wheels powered means you'll have a lot more fun, and it can get you out of trouble as well. We want to ensure you'll keep coming back for more. Now, one unique thing about all Mach-E models is that they don't have a traditional engine. Instead, what you see here is the front trunk or frunk. In this later production vehicle, we don't have the dividers that were present in the earlier series, so you have this entire area for storage. It even has a drain plug, allowing you to store wet items like ice, sodas, or meat for a barbecue. With the gasket and seal around the top, you can take your party with you and enjoy your beverages. It's convenient and ensures you're prepared for any occasion. Moving on, opening the trunk is incredibly easy. Simply pull the lever twice, and it lifts up without any extra buttons to deal with. It's super convenient. Another unique feature is the Mustang GT heritage emblem on the back, which pays homage to the original Mustang GTs. Additionally, they offer a practical feature where you can kick open the trunk if your hands are full or you need easy access. Closing it is just as effortless, making life a lot easier without struggling with every button on the car. For added convenience, the hatch height can be adjusted to accommodate narrow garages or low ceilings. By holding down the button for a five-count, you can lower the height, and another press brings it back to the highest position. It's a useful feature for people of different heights or when you encounter space constraints. These doors are assisted, which is a great safety feature for both older individuals and young ones. When you push the button to open the door, it pops itself out to assist you, and when you close it, it automatically closes. It's particularly helpful when you have little ones who want to get in and out without worrying about their fingers getting caught. The doors ensure their safety. So, that wraps up the tour of the all-new Mach-E GT Edition in Grabber Blue. It's a unique and rare vehicle. Thank you for watching this exterior video. I encourage you all to like and subscribe to this channel. Thank you very much"

Millions of proud Ford owners use the FordPass due to its compatibility with Ford vehicle builds from 1995 onward. The app's functionality varies depending on year and model, and it can access remote vehicle features and connected services. To determine if your vehicle has FordPass Connect, check the window sticker or add your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the app. If you see the "Activate Vehicle" button on the Home screen, it means your vehicle has an embedded modem. Experts give these apps the thumbs up, and Ford continues to launch updates with new features based on continuous customer feedback. This past year, FordPass received high rankings in J.D. Power’s U.S. OEM EV App Benchmark Study and was one of the highest-performing vehicle applications on the market. Getting Started We hope you are enjoying the FordPass app. If you aren’t using the FordPass app, getting started is easy. Here are the straightforward steps: 1. Download: The FordPass app from your Apple or Android device. The app will walk you through the following steps. 2. Create an account: When you open the app, it will ask you for your email and then ask for personal information like your name and address. It will send a confirmation to your email, which of course, you will need to verify, and then you can log into your account. 3. Enter vehicle: Once you log in, you will see an empty garage. To add your vehicle, hit the plus sign. You can manually enter or scan the VIN barcode on the label inside the door jamb. Scanning the VIN is easy; hit the ok screen for the scanner to pop up and scan the barcode. The app will show you when your vehicle is found. 4. Name your car: You can then give your car a nickname – maybe something full, like “Bud the Bronco.” You will see that your vehicle has been added to your garage. Just one more step to go. 5. Which Tires Are Best For Your Ford?

We have the most diverse topography here in California, and the weather is becoming increasingly unpredictable. This leads many South Bay Ford clients to ask us for more information about tire choices. Modern tire technology blends a unique mix of chemistry, physics and engineering to give consumers a high degree of comfort, performance, efficiency, reliability and safety. The pros at South Bay Ford are here to help you choose the best tires to suit your needs. Understanding the difference between seasonal tires and what you should have on your Ford is useful. Here are some of the basics. Top 2 Factors of Tire Performance The majority of tire performance comes from the tread. This isn’t surprising because the tread is the only part of the tire that connects to the road. The two most essential elements of the tread are: 1. Tread Compounds Manufacturers use different types of rubbers and fillers to make the tire tread. 2. Tread Pattern This is the groove design molded into the compounds. The most common tread pattern for consumer tires is a symmetric tread pattern where the outer and inner sides of the tread are mirror images of one another. Types of Season Tires The main difference between all-season, summer, and winter tires is their performance in different driving conditions. All-Season Tires All-season tires are good year-round in many climates. They have a firm rubber that stiffens at lower temperatures but does not soften when it starts to warm up. The treads have shallow grooves that function well on wet and dry pavement. Summer Tires Summer tires are designed for warm weather and can be used in the summer or year-round in Southern California. Summer tires handle wet and dry roads well if the temperature is above 45°F. The hard rubber construction with shallow tread offers a smooth, quiet ride but will lose traction in snow or ice, which is why they should only be used in warmer temperatures. Winter Tires While summer tires are more suited for the warmer months, winter tires work best at temperatures below 45°F. They handle well in dry and wet conditions, including snow and ice. The tread design pushes slush and snow away from the tire while you move down the road. Winter tires don’t last as long as summer or all-season tires because the rubber is softer. But on the plus side, in most cases, you only needed them for a few months out of the year. Full Circle with South Bay Ford Are you off to spend time in the snowy mountains? Ford Lane Assist - What It Does & How to Set It

Summary In this video, Brandon from South Bay Ford demonstrates how to turn on the lane keep assist mode and explains the different levels of lane keep assist. He emphasizes the importance of keeping the mode on for safety purposes and explains that the vehicle will alert the driver if they are swaying too much and need to take a break. Brandon shows how to access the lane keep assist settings in the vehicle menu and explains that the mode provides visual and tactile aids to help the driver stay centered in their lane. He recommends using the aid mode for an even greater level of assistance. Finally, Brandon shows how to adjust the alert sensitivity and demonstrates the different levels of sensitivity. He advocates for keeping the lane keep assist mode on while driving to increase safety and reduce the risk of accidents. Transcript Brandon here at South Bay Ford. I just wanted to show you how to turn your Lane Assist mode on and the different levels of Lane Keep Assist, and why I love keeping it on. Even if we're at our best, focused, and just had coffee, or meditated, it's always nice to know you have a vehicle that is also checking in on you. If it tells you that you're swaying too much and your Lane Keep is working too hard, it will advise you to take a break. When that happens, I think it's after several Lane Keep Assists; it will notify you to pull over, and that is very cool. I suggest listening to that because it's for your safety, and that is the most important thing when you're driving. You can find it in Settings; it is on our first menu here, and our first option here. We can just read about it real quick; this is everything that it does. Alright, here we go. Mode. So we have an Alert, which will notify you right here once you get on a freeway. It's going to give you a road icon right here and show you both sides of the road. If you're swaying too much to the right, it will turn the whole right side of the road red. Let me show you what that looks like; it's going to do just that. Pretend that road is going to be right here, and it's going to be notifying you there. Aid is kind of crazy because if you are swaying over to the left too much, it will give you a little jolt. So it's kind of like bumpers, say your car is the bowling ball, you're going a little too much out of your lane, to go dude, and then that lets you know you have to center it, and that's incredible. For that to be in an XLE model, this is our base Explorer model, and I'm very lucky to have that. I do feel safe and alert. Plus, Aid is just going to combine the two, which I recommend having because it's not only going to give you that visual aid on your screen right in front of you, right there, it's going to give you that little jolt, that little wake-up shake in your steering wheel, and that is everything. Alert Sensitivity is going to show you - whoa, I did not know that - so it gives you an example. Wow! So let me show you what low looks like, a little bit of a shake, normal, and high.

Does My Ford Hybrid Need Standard Servicing?

The technology in Ford hybrid vehicles such as Ford Fusion or Ford Escape features a gas-powered engine and an electric motor that can seamlessly switch from one to the other or run on both gas and electric simultaneously. This is how Ford hybrids optimize your driving experience and improve your fuel economy. Hybrid cars have fewer fluids and internal parts, making them cheaper to maintain in the long run. If you are a proud owner of a Ford hybrid vehicle or considering buying one, it is good to know that they still require similar servicing as gas models. Below we answer a few of customers' typical questions about servicing Ford hybrid vehicles. Do you have to get new brakes on Electric and Hybrid Cars? Yes, the brake pads on your hybrid or electric vehicle will not last forever. Many Ford hybrid vehicles and EVs need a brake inspection and service at the 5-year mark vs. standard cars, which need brake pad replacement every 40,000-50,000 miles. In addition to the regenerative brakes, these cars are equipped with friction brakes that kick into use as needed. Ford's regenerative braking system recharges your battery and assists the traditional brakes. The electric motor also helps slow down your vehicle, so you will use your brakes less, but you will use them. How long will a Ford hybrid vehicle battery last? Under normal conditions, your hybrid battery is designed to perform reliably for approximately every 150,000 miles or 15 years. That may be longer than you even own your hybrid car! As with all vehicles, the battery life depends on your driving habits and maintenance. Standard car batteries typically last four to six years. Do you need to get oil changes for your hybrid car? Yes, again. A Ford hybrid vehicle runs on synthetic oil that needs to be changed every 6,000 miles. South Bay Ford recommends regular oil changes. While you’re here, have your filter replaced and your wheels checked. Regular oil changes and filter replacements in a Ford hybrid car can prolong its lifespan. Will your tires last longer? As with regular tires, hybrid tire wear depends on your driving. If you are mostly city driving, your tires will wear down more quickly than if you were doing a lot of highway driving. However, with regular rotations and proper inflation at South Bay Ford, hybrid tires can last just as long as their gas-powered counterparts. If your Ford hybrid's tires puncture, they can be repaired or replaced. The best way to determine if your Ford vehicle needs tire repair or replacement is to come into South Bay Ford Quick Lane service department. Our certified technicians will be able to determine whether tire repair or replacement is necessary based on puncture location, size, state of wear, and type of damage.
